Finding Your Home Away From Home

Moving away from home for the first time is a pivotal point in one's life. For my friend Simmi when she had moved to university it was her first time being in an environment away from her parents where she is fully responsible for herself. This transition for her had her reflect on her definition of home and what exactly it is that makes her feel at home. She dives into the differences between her childhood definition of home and her current interpenetration of the concept. We explore her relationship with her home life and how it differs now being in a whole new setting.
